The following 18 men of the 22nd Battalion were killed in action or died of wounds during the time of the German Spring Offensive of 1918, first while the battalion was in Belgium and then following the move south and back to the Somme battlefields near Dernancourt. Some of the men have WW1 Red Cross Files for the Wounded and Missing – click on the links to learn more of their fate, often from first hand accounts from their comrades. A few photographs of headstones can be found by clicking on the relevant Cemetery link, plus click on Service Number link for biographies of the 5th/22nd Battalion focus group.
