Red Cross Files: Bois Grenier

22nd-battalionThe following twenty-five men of the 22nd Battalion died during the first half of 1916, predominately during the Battalion’s participation in the Bois Grenier sector of the Western Front. During this period only Pte Bell has WW1 Red Cross Files for the Wounded and Missing – click on his link to learn more of his fate, often from first hand accounts from their comrades. A couple of photographs of headstones can be also found by clicking on the relevant Cemetery link along with biographies for the men of the 5th/22nd, our focus group, that were killed during this period.
