In this section we will be following the Australian Infantry Divisions in the Great War, from their departure from Australia in 1914 to the training camps of Egypt, the disasters of Gallipoli and Fromelles, the battles on the Somme and around Ypres, to the spearheading of the great Allied offensive in 1918 and the breaching of the Hindenburg Line in the final weeks of the war.
