Family Section

The majority of soldiers that fought during World War One did not speak about their often horrific experiences when they returned home to their families and loved ones. With this generation now passed it has fallen upon the internet-generation families and communities in which they lived to tell both their individual and collective stories of courage and bravery. In this section we are able to learn more about the men that fought and their experiences through stories submitted by their families, together with the impact that the war had on the communities back home.

If you have a story of a family member that fought with the 22nd Battalion or have a community project that includes a soldier in the Battalion, please contact Greg through the Contact Us page.
